Scalextric 1/32 Subaru Impreza Model Slot Car (C2884)
This model features the Subaru Impreza in its livery from the 2007 Monte Carlo Rally. With a front mounted sidewinder motor and four-wheel drive chassis, this car has outstanding road handling characteristics. The front mounted motor provides weight over the guide blade thereby helping the blade to stay in the slot. This makes the car very satisfying to rally drive through corners as the back of the car can slide out but the car will not easily de-slot - the front driven wheels are always pulling the rear wheels back in to line from a skid. The 4-wheel drive rubber belt provides quiet and smooth powe, features neon-effect ???blue??? headlights, rear lights, adjustable Magnatraction??? positions and a sprung guide blade with easy change pick-ups ???model length 137mm

The Subaru World Rally Team has won both the manufacturers' championship and drivers' championship on three occasions. The team has used the Impreza since 1993. Australian Chris Atkinson has driven for the team since 2005. In the 2007 Monte Carlo Rally, Subaru had two cars firmly in the points with just one stage remaining. Chris Atkinson was one of the stars of the rally, setting two fastest stage times as he fought over, and eventually took, fourth position from Mikko Hirvonen.
